World Leadership Day 2008

I am proud to announce our second World Leadership Day to be held on 20 March, 2008 at the Sydney Venue, Sydney Australia. Our theme is 'Inspire the Youth of the World'.

Details will be available on the World Leadership Day website www.worldleadershipday.org to be launched after 1 February 2008.

World Leadership Day was founded by Elisabeth Gortschacher to raise awareness and inspire new ways of discovering and developing leadership for the 21st century and beyond.

Elisabeth’s vision is for World Leadership Day to be a yearly, growing international event that is celebrated and publicised world wide to give leadership the high profile it commands.

The vision for the World Leadership Day has received positive support from highly respected national leaders with extensive global experience, and international leaders who are in alignment with our vision.

 

The theme of the 2007 inaugural WLD event was Ignite the Leader Within. Speakers included: Elisabeth Gortschacher, founder of World Leadership Day; Margaret Wright, Consultant to Boards and Senior Executives; Aaron Caldwell, Good Deeds International and Paul Gilding, Ecos Corporation. 2007 event agenda
Attendance at the inaugural event was by personal invitation only.

A historic e-book was released soon after the event. It contains articles contributed by writers from around the globe. Our contributors include: Dr Lance Secretan (author of One: the Art and Practice of Conscious Leadership), Dr Margaret Wheatley (Leadership and the New Science), Gregg Braden (Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles, and Belief) and Dr Prasad Kaipa (Discontinuous Learning: Reflections on Aligning Self and Work).
